The things in our lives have an impact on us, on society and on our environment.
With PLASFUTURE – (PLAS-) plastic, (-FUTURE) future, I would like to explore the possibilities of today’s technologies and show which new designs for our everyday life can already be realized and produced today.

The designs are created digitally using CAD (Computer Aided Design) software. Natural shapes and colors are combined with geometric figures to represent the possible symbiosis of nature and technology.

Another software (slicer) is used to translate the digital 3D object into machine code. The objects are then transformed from the digital into the real world using a 3D printing process. The raw material used is the biocompatible material PLA – a plastic that is obtained from corn starch and is biodegradable under certain industrial conditions.
