What drives me: Working with and loving wool has been with me all my life. For me it is a wonderful material with almost unlimited possibilities. At the latest since I have been working with raw wool, I have become more and more aware of how versatile this raw material is and how little attention and use it gets in our industrialized world. Fortunately, there are currently more and more people and small businesses that are breathing new life into the processing and use of our regional wool. With my work I make a contribution, no matter how small it may be, so that people in the city and the country can again directly feel and appreciate the value of a pure natural product.
What excites me: the originality of wool, the diversity in color, texture and structure, the simplicity and complexity of felting, the immersion in the creative and craft process.
What is important to me: Sustainability, animal welfare, personal contact with shepherds and their animals.
