EMTI, alias Tini Emde, works as an artist, designer and illustrator in a unique backyard in the Bremen district. From black and white to brightly colored, she draws and paints just about anything that offers a surface for her often humorous and fun-loving art.
She doesn’t shy away from kitsch or pathos and usually adds a wink of humor to her works, and with her ever-growing series of “Sprücheklopfer”, she processes verbal style blossoms and important everyday wisdom into small drawings with a wink and a good dose of loving humor.
These play with the complexity of our daily lives and show No matter whether your emotional stability is like a dandelion or you just want to let off steam in peace – you are not alone, the “Proverb Knockers” are with you!
